It is the policy of the Central Arkansas Library System to curtail the use of tobacco products on its property. This policy is implemented both to minimize the exposure of employees and patrons to second-hand smoke and to limit the litter that occurs because of the improper disposal of tobacco products. This policy shall apply to all employees and other persons entering any property owned or operated by the Central Arkansas Library System.

For purposes of this policy, tobacco products means cigarettes, cigars, pipes, snuff, chewing tobacco or any similar product made from tobacco.
