Oley E. Rooker Library, located in the southwestern area of Little Rock, is the newest library in the the Central Arkansas Library System. The 13,500 square foot building provides books, audiovisual, and electronic materials for children, teens, and adults, as well as public computers, wireless access, programs for all age groups, and a meeting room.
People of the Library
The library was named for Oley Eldon Rooker, an active advocate of the southwest Little Rock community for many years.

CALS DVD Check Out Policies Changed
Beginning Wednesday, May 1, the Central Arkansas Library System (CALS) will increase the number of DVDs patrons may have checked out to ten DVDs. Also, the check out period for new release movies will be seven days.
