Dee Brown Library is nestled in the heart of southwest Little Rock and offers patrons a wide variety of adult and children's books as well as CDs, DVDs, and videocassettes. The 13,500-square-feet library, which opened in 2002, provides access to public study rooms, a meeting room, and an outside deck and boardwalk that lead from Baseline Road to the library.
People of the Library
Dee Brown was a novelist and historian. His most famous work, Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee, was published in 1970. Brown retired in Arkansas, his home state, in 1973, where he devoted his time to writing.
